    Description

    As a Junior Systems Administrator at Leroy Merlin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include the day-to-day maintenance and administration of our systems, as well as providing technical support to end-users and resolving hardware and software issues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installing and configuring hardware and software systems, including servers, operating systems, applications, and other equipment
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and availability
    • Providing technical assistance to end-users and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect computer systems and networks from unauthorized access and malicious activity
    • Managing Gsuite range of products, including email, calendar, and documentation tools
    • Participating in system upgrades, installations, and migrations to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime
    • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
    • Collaborating with other members of the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues and implement system improvements

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and/or Linux server administration, with a strong understanding of networking protocols and security measures
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, and experience with system migrations and upgrades
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
    • Certifications in relevant areas, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or CompTIA A+, are mandatory for this role
