Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Section Leader to join their dynamic team in Durban.
***-
Hold meeting with Team members daily
***:
-
Run the automatic plating line to produce the required daily OPR & OEE.
***:
-
Compile daily production plans for specific plant together with the Plant Managers
***:
-
Supervise the plant operators & Viewers to ensure efficiency, quality and quantity.
***:
-
Stock count and control of plated stock
***:
-
Ensure correct movement of finished goods to staging area
***:
-
Maintain good housekeeping in all areas, consistently.
***:
-
People management - maintain and control absenteeism & efficiencies
***:
-
Adhere to safety rules and regulations, ensure all employees wear the required PPE and ensure operators always adhere to the Safety rules.
***:
-
Complete Shift handover sheets together with the Group leaders
***:
-
Perform any reasonable task as required by the management
***:
-
Ensure breakdown maintenance is carried out immediately by formally reporting it to the relevant maintenance department.

Job Requirements:***-
Matric & Operations Management tertiary qualification or any other relevant qualification.
***:
-
Experience maintenance of equipment and effluent control, and chemical maintenance of electrolytes.
***:
-
Experience with Plating on non-conductors will be advantageous.
***:
-
5 years in the manufacturing/plating industry with previous production control / supervisory.
