    Senior Financial Manager (Banking)

    R1.6m - R1.8m (neg) plus bonus

    Cape Town

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our Retail Banking cluster as a key member of the leadership team. As a Senior Financial Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams to ensure alignment of financial and business objectives, providing optimal financial insights, guidance, and information to enable accurate and effective financial management and decision making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Business Partnering and Business Insights: Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide strategic financial guidance and support, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • People and Resource Management: Lead and manage the Finance Business Partners and/or Costing Analysts, ensuring effective talent development and utilization.
    • Financial Business Partnering General Management: Provide general management support to the Finance Business Partners and/or Costing Analysts, ensuring the delivery of functional financial requirements.
    • Annual Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections and planning.
    • Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, providing insight into financial performance and trends.
    • Costing: Manage costing processes, ensuring accurate and efficient cost allocation and management.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: CA with 8-10 years' experience and exposure to credit (unsecured lending preferably).
    • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
