Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x GSI Local Change Manager.

The local change manager helps them take ownership and feel comfortable with new rules, processes and integrated tools correctly.
The role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
The main responsibility of the local CM is to ensure business adoption of GSI core-model by Key-users/End-users within the site.

Change management ramp-up and network:
- Get to know the GSI Change Management methodology
- Contribute to the global GSI Change Management Network to share Lessons learned and best practices for different roll outs
Awareness and stakeholder engagement:
- Train site Project team on change management methodology
- Identify the project stakeholders on site and the actions to keep them engaged during the project
Change Management Methodology implementation:
- Perform change management impact assessment with the key stakeholders to design the change management plan
- Monitor and update CM plan with regular reporting to Project sponsorship/ Stakeholders and Global CM teams
- Handle risk related to Change Mngt and work as advisor for site management on actions related to organizational impacts
Communication (informal and formal):
- Adapt, define and implement communication plan (newsletters, events, roadshows ) to the site specificities
End User Training and train-the-trainer:
- Adapt training methodology to the site specificities
- Plan and organize the sessions (logistics, assessments ) with the support of the Key Users and other resources
- Support the Key users for the training's preparation and delivery organization
Adoption
- Implement business maturity assessments before, during and after GSI rollout at various levels of the local organization
- Track business adoption up to business stabilization to ensure proper local rampup: project pulse, training followup
Post-go live support
- Define and implement hypercare support
- Manage possible further emerging change actions not previously identified
- Identify and manage improvement actions and roadblocks
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
DESIRABLE
- Experience in Transformation Programs
- Knowledgeable of continuous improvement
- Experience in transportation industry
- Knowledge of Group processes
- Knowledge of preferences and special requirements to be considered in the adaptation of the change Plan
- Already introduced to stakeholders
MANDATORY
- Knowledge of local context, organization, business processes & tools
- Integrated tool /ERP implementation / roll out experience
- Ability to work with / to mobilize multiple stakeholders at local/regional/central levels
- Ability to communicate and to train
- Ability to negotiate and work under challenging conditions
EXPERIENCE
DESIRABLE
- Graduate degree in HR, communication and/or main impacted stream such as engineering
- Master in change management (project management, change models and frameworks, Group psychology)
MANDATORY
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- English fluent
- Interpersonal relationships (engage stakeholders, build trust, commit to interacting emotionally and to bringing more people on board, focus on solutions, be collaborative, encourage the group )
- Project management, leadership and problem solving skills
