Warehouse Administrator (Dispatch / Receiving ) position has become available at a forward thinking company based in Diep River. The main purpose of this role is to control and record movement of stock in and out of stores.


Objectives:


  • To control and record the movement of stock in and out of the stores
  • To ensure a high quality of work, service, and a high level of efficiency

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:


  • To accurately control the:
  • Movement of all equipment, pabx, spares and consumables, into and out of the Receiving Area.
  • Assisting couriers delivering equipment, pabx, spares and consumables.
  • Ensuring a copy of the supplier invoice / delivery note and/or waybill is saved on the server and handed to the correct staff member to arrange GRV of stock into system.
  • Ensure that all stock in the receiving area is always secure.
  • Checking of consumables in the morning with the drivers before they load the vans.
  • Prepare and send off all stock via courier of equipment, pabx, spares and consumables.
  • Tracking parcels with the courier when clients call for ETA's for consumables orders.
  • Sorting of full and faulty toner returns from clients that needs to go back to suppliers for credit or replacement.
  • Attend to all admin generated by the stores:
  • filing drivers / courier picking slips, putting drivers PODs in SRV number order and scanning and saving internal PODs.
  • Keeping spreadsheets up to date:
  • delivery status spreadsheet and vehicle data spreadsheet.
  • To assist with all maintenance in the warehouse (clearing of boxes, clearing of pallets, sweeping of warehouse, and packing stock away)
  • To assist with all stock take related duties, which will include working after hours
  • To partake in Financial year end stocktake (twice yearly), which will include working the last weekend of the month.
  • To assist and investigate of all stock discrepancies that may arise.
  • Able to multitask, work with deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Cross train on admin duties in the stores
  • To adhere to CBA's Policy and Procedures
  • To adhere to CBA's dress code
  • To assist with all reasonable workrelated tasks as and when required
  • To report any inconsistencies and discrepancies to the Stores/Logistics Manager
  • Prompt arrival and departure to and from the workplace
  • Must be computer literate, Microsoft, Word and basic Excel
  • Assist with deliveries / collections of consumables and equipment when required
  • Must have a valid drivers licence with code 8 or 10 with PDRP

  • Quality of work and accuracy of records

Salary:
Up to R9 000,00 per month
