SITE AGENT -CONTRACT

Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Site based position assisting the Project Manager with overseeing Fire Sprinkler

Protection installations.

JOB DUTIES:

Attend daily Site meetings with the Main Contractor and Installation teams.

Maintain Safety File and oversee safe working practices.

Track ensure programme dates are met.

Ensure installations are installed according to shop drawings and regulations.

Ensure Quality is maintained and snag installations on a regular basis.

Daily feedback reports and communication with Project Manager.

Assist in liaising with procurement for material needed on site.

Assist in keeping the projects are installed timeously and on budget.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

3 years minimum in Construction environment.

2 years Fire Sprinkler Protection experience preferable.

Be able to comprehend specifications and drawings.

Organizational skills planning activities and resources on the construction site.

Experience with Control Valves and Pumped Water Supplies advantageous.

Good verbal and written communication.

Basic computer skills required.

Own reliable transport required.
