We are a digital media company looking for a junior account manager to join our awesome team in Johannesburg.
We're looking for a talented and reliable junior account manager to add to our great team whose focus is on advertising, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
This position will work with social media managers to help bridge the gap between our clients and their online customers.
Our ideal person is reliable, talented, and a self-starter.You must be able to start immediately and have some experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- You will be allocated a portfolio of accounts to manage and maintain
- To build and sustain a strong and longlasting relationship with clients
- Ensuring constant and effective flow of communication between agency, client and suppliersAssist with preparation and delivery of topquality briefs and proposals
- Coordinate internal strategic, creative, media and production teams to deliver work that effectively answers client briefs
- Handling status documents and campaign costs
- Manage effective and accurate delivery of final elements to internal and external suppliers and ensure thorough activation
- Assist with monitoring effectiveness of campaigns to ensure client campaigns are properly planned and reported on against campaign objectives, KPIs and metrics
- Maintain an active knowledge of industry and digital marketing trends to assist with proactively advising clients about digital marketing landscape developments
- Deliver jobs on time, on budget and continuously exceed client expectations
Key Competencies:
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Highly adaptable
- Deadline driven
- Copywriting and editing skills.
- Extensive knowledge in Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of websites, digital and social media project and account management
- Good people skills and the confidence and experience to lead meetings and workshops as well as guide clients on marketing and communications solutions
- Must be comfortable writing and handling briefs and client queries
- Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills with close attention to detail
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in media, digital strategy, advertising, or communication
- 3+ years media and digital strategy experience
