    YOUR MISSION:
As the Retail Trainer, you will play an invaluable role in developing our retail talents through coaching and training.

You will be responsible for partnering with our Retail Store Managers and Area Managers to drive and execute the learning agenda (training curriculum) within our stores.

The Retail Trainer will play a key part in delivering an array of projects including Mystery Shopper and Team Development initiatives to ensure we have a talent pool available to promote from internally.

Through the local execution of the company's talent development strategy, you will train and support Store Managers and Store Associates to become ambassadors of our brand culture and values, as well as our products.


What This Job Involves

  • Develop, Plan, organize, and execute training programs in line with the Retail strategy.
  • Deliver specific programs and tools across 5 Training Pillars (Selling, Product Knowledge, Functional, Leadership Skills and Brand).
  • Work closely with field operations teams to identify training needs and tools required to develop the level of store associates skills and knowledge.
  • Implement all Global, and local Training programs within established, and agreed upon timeframes.
  • Ensure elearning program is utilized in stores and track utilization and effectiveness of the programs.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing training programs
  • Conduct new Store Manager Induction Training and participate in new store openings as required.
  • Work with Operations and P & OA to identify areas of opportunities for development and training initiatives.
  • Collaborate on best practices with colleagues and peers.
  • Use of the Mystery Shopper Report analytics as a measurement of customer service, product knowledge and effectiveness of training.

YOUR TALENT:


  • Previous experience in a training or related role within a retail environment.
  • Experience in classroom, blended and digital learning
  • Strong Coaching & Facilitation Expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including English at a business level
  • Understanding difference in FP and FOC environment and how to adjust to the environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong Retail Business Acumen
  • Knowledge of adult learning techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time keeping skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time
  • Professional attitude and approach to work
  • Driver's license and own car
  • Ability to competently operate MS office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)

General

  • Lead by example and act as a trusted confidant to the store
  • Act as a platform for sharing of experience / best practices among the stores on coaching initiatives/programs
  • Travel will be required as part of the role and frequent instore presence
