    Aon South Africa is recruiting a Digital Marketing Administrator in our Marketing department, based on a hybrid basis, from our head office in Sandton.

    The role of the Digital Marketing Administrator is to use all relevant digital platforms to connect with Aon's collaborators in line with Aon's Corporate Identity Guidelines, strategy, policies and procedures. All efforts are measured against objectives to ensure reputation management, lead generation and client relationship management.

    What the day will look like

    Aon Digital Marketing:

  • Responsible for layout design, development and maintenance of Aon websites, landing pages, online digital display banners, and CRM ready HTML email campaigns.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Marketing team to conceptualise, design and produce high-end external and internal creative online digital display banners, email campaigns and web pages within the agreed service level timelines.
  • Work with Digital portfolio manager to improve Aon's search engine optimisation to organically grow Aon's presence on search engines.
  • Handle and maintain Aon social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) to engage Aon colleagues, clients, prospects and communities to ensure effective online maintenance of the Aon value proposition.
  • Run the scheduling of social media content together with agency to strategically reach optimum audience.
  • Supervise social media trends by using social listening tools, Twitter and Google Alerts to track topics relevant to Aon's markets and industries in order to optimise Aon's content and brand.
  • Compile a monthly social media report to track and leads generation to determine returns on investment.
  • Marketing Cloud

  • Proficient in SFMC Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Audience Builder and Cloud Pages development
  • Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build journeys using Journey Builder and sync data from Salesforce CRM to Marketing Cloud and back
  • Implement engagement marketing and insight marketing campaigns in SFMC

  • Scalable Contact Builder attribute groups
  • Dynamic emails via Content Builder; and Design email templates in marketing cloud
  • Build, test and deploy marketing and email campaigns including personalization and dynamic content across different Marketing Cloud Studio
  • Carry out solutions testing and validation post-deployment
  • Use SFMC Journey Builder to develop new & manage existing strategic email journeys, triggered sends & automations that connect to both internal (SFMC) and external (API/sFTP) data sources
  • Provide monthly reports to management on campaign performance in marketing cloud.
  • Document customer journeys and applicable data extensions
  • Internal Digital Marketing & Communication:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the Aon Intranet content by liaising with Aon Global and South Africa collaborators ensuring regular updates and page creation as and when required.
  • Manage and maintain internal social media platform (Viva Engage) to engage and encourage Aon colleagues to use Aon's internal platforms through compelling content.
  • General:

  • Liaise with Aon plc Global Interactive Marketing Team and be willing to share knowledge.
  • Conduct research regularly to stay up to date with changes and new trends in digital marketing.
  • Assist Aon colleagues with presentations and other documentation as and when required.
  • Understand and follows the Aon Leadership Model and takes ownership of personal development

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Qualifications.

  • Be in possession of Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Preferably have a bachelor's degree in marketing or digital Marketing.
  • Knowledge.

  • Basic insurance knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Possess knowledge in social media, HTML & CSS coding and editing and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Skills and Attributes.

  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
  • Be computer literate with advanced experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and have above average English writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience.

  • Have at least 3 - 5 years work experience.
  • Have previous experience on social media management.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign), Premier and After Effects will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in social listening tools (Hootsuite, Klout, Google Alerts)
  • Experience in video editing and digital analytics.
