Description

Duties:


  • Opening and closing of the store at stipulated times
  • Managing the overall operations and activities of each department
  • Attending to guest complaints and determining optimal solutions


  • Staff management

  • Shift scheduling, workstation scheduling, etc.
  • Monitoring and assisting staff with work progress
  • Overseeing training of new staff on all procedures and policies
  • Managing stock levels and ordering stock from applicable suppliers weekly
  • Daily filing of all cash ups and supporting documents and weekly H/O submissions
  • Monthly payroll submissions

Additional information:


  • No leave during public holidays, school holidays or long weekends
  • Sunday rate payable
  • Public holiday rate payable
  • Additional night shift allowance for work performed after 18.00

Qualifications and skills:


  • Matric with English and Maths
  • 3+ years' experience as a store supervisor or Manager in a retail store
  • Good understanding of IT
  • String knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Own reliable transport.
