    Business Development Manager

    We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. This individual will be responsible for driving the growth of our clients' ocean freight business by identifying and securing new opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Hunt for New Business Opportunities: Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities in the ocean freight industry.
    • Become a Key Contact: Foster strong relationships with clients and industry partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
    • Closing Deals: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication.
    • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor and adapt to changes within the ocean freight industry, ensuring strategies remain effective and competitive.

    Requirements:

    • Proven Track Record: A history of success in sales and business development roles.
    • Ocean Freight Expertise: A deep understanding of the ocean freight industry, including market trends and challenges.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
