    • Implement and maintain company policies within the assigned portfolio, ensuring legal compliance and regulatory adherence.
    • Oversee financial performance by reviewing and approving monthly income statements, quarterly forecasts, and annual financial plans.
    • Analyse financial and operational ratios (e.g., Return on Sales, Return on Capital Employed, Cycle Times) to drive business efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while exploring growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
    • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring contractual compliance, service excellence, and loyalty programs.
    • Conduct regular customer engagements, including after-hours interactions and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
    • Lead and manage teams effectively, providing guidance and support to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
    • Ensure the smooth transition and implementation of new business, whether organic or external growth initiatives.
    • Optimize asset utilization, ensuring proper maintenance, maximum efficiency, and minimal downtime.
    • Drive financial management and ensure profitability across contracts, tenders, and agreements.
    • Monitor performance metrics, including vehicle utilization, revenue, costs, and compliance with industry regulations.
    • Enforce Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and promote a safe working environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in Warehousing, Transportation, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
    • 8 - 10 years of senior operational experience in warehousing and transportation, with a proven track record of success.
    • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting processes, financial management principles, and forecasting techniques.
    • Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and relevant computer applications.
    • Excellent management, leadership, and HR skills, with the ability to drive operational efficiencies and business growth.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of industry regulations, including OHSA, and experience with contract management and legal compliance.
    • Strategic planning and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
    • Own transport and willingness to travel as required, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
