job responsibilities as the
Legal & Compliance Manager (Online Sportsbetting) in
Cape Town will include:

Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures specific to the
online sportsbetting industry in South Africa
Provide regular training and updates to all employees on compliance and legal issues
Monitor changes in legislation and assess the impact on the company's operations in the
online sportsbetting industry:
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Investigate and resolve any compliancerelated issues or disputes
Provide legal advice and support on commercial contracts and other legal matters
Represent the company in legal and regulatory matters specific to the
online sports betting industry, including appearing in court or attending regulatory hearings
Maintain accurate records of all legal and compliance activities and decisions
Liaise with external legal and compliance experts as needed in the
online sportsbetting industry:
Develop and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory bodies and industry organisations

Requirements for this
Legal & Compliance Manager (Online Sportsbetting) job in
Cape Town:

A law degree and admission to the bar or equivalent professional qualification
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations specific to the
online sports betting industry in South Africa
Several years of experience in a legal and compliance role in the
online sports betting industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think strategically and provide practical and commercial legal advice in the
online sportsbetting industry:
Strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
