D-Lower.

  • The primary responsibility of the Smelter Maintenance Manager is the asset and infrastructure management, maintenance, and successful implementation of maintenance projects within the Smelter facilities, associated infrastructure and process equipment all within approved schedules, timelines and budgets.
  • The Smelter Maintenance Manager directs and manages the plant maintenance staff, programs and processes, typically under direction of the Smelter operations manager, to ensure safe, optimal, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
  • As such, the Smelter Maintenance Manager provides functional, technical or process leadership. The organisation will depend on this person's management of multiple discipline teams.
  • Further, the Smelter Maintenance Manager will be a member of the Company Engineering Management Team under leadership of the GMR2.1 whom, will direct the various engineering disciplines in terms of technical roadmaps...

Relevant experience required:


  • 5 years in similar role
  • Trade test or has 10 to 15 years practical experience in the Automation/Instrumentation/ Electrical fields/Mechanical fields


  • GCC

  • Mechanical / Electrical
  • Exposure to legal appointment

Relevant technical tertiary qualification

Salary Package:
R910k to R1,1m TCTC per annum.
