    Job Description

    • Key Responsibilities:
      • Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and funding strategies to ensure the company's financial stability.
      • Oversee hedging, forex transactions, loans, and deposits to minimize risks and maximize returns.
      • Maintain banking relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage banking system access to facilitate seamless transactions.
      • Ensure regulatory compliance, including exchange control applications, to maintain a strong reputation.
      • Drive process improvements and treasury digitization initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
      • Lead the implementation of a Treasury Management System to streamline operations.
      • Oversee treasury reporting, month-end closing, and financial controls to provide accurate insights.
      • Manage capital structuring, loan registration, and equity transactions to optimize financial performance.
      • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure transparency and accountability.
      • Ensure compliance with IFRS, financial instruments, and credit facility management to maintain a strong financial foundation.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • BCom (Hons) in Accounting or Finance as a minimum requirement.
    • CA(SA) or CIMA preferred for advanced expertise.
    • At least 58 years of Treasury Management experience in a multinational environment to leverage diverse perspectives.
    • Strong expertise in FX, hedging, liquidity management, and financial instruments to navigate complex financial scenarios.
    • Experience with treasury systems and ERP environments (preferably SAP) to integrate technology and finance.
    • Knowledge of banking regulations across African markets to adapt to diverse financial landscapes.
