We are looking for a General Assistant to work at our Retirement Village As a General Assistant at our company, you will be responsible for taking care of our facility, and you will carry out various cleaning duties.

Your main goal will be to keep the Home/s in a clean and orderly condition.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Cleaning of floors
• Washing dishes
• Making of beds
• Cleaning of toilets and bathrooms
• Cleaning of cupboards
• Ironing
• Laundry
• Washing of windows
• Sweeping outside patio areas
• Cleaning patio furniture
• Cleaning of stoves and fridges
• Cleaning internal walls
• And more

Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Attention to detail

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years cleaning experience in a healthcare facility.
• Good understanding of infection control
• Good understanding of different color codes of cleaning equipment used in a healthcare facility
