    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will ensure seamless site integration and compliance with Section 197 (S197) of the Labour Relations Act, managing employee transfers, contractual obligations, and operational continuity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Align HR strategies with operational goals to drive a strong people agenda within the business.
    • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies to support a high-performance culture.
    • Support the talent pipeline by focusing on succession planning and career development.
    • Implement and oversee the people pillar of WCM / Lean Sigma, Manufacturing Excellence within TMC sites.
    • Lead and manage union engagements, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
    • Provide HR metrics and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably Human Resource Management, is mandatory for this role. At least five years of HR business partnering experience within a unionized manufacturing environment are required.

    Digital proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other digital tools, is essential. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as WCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other manufacturing excellence programs, is also necessary.
