And our happy philosophy is paying off, which means there is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team.We are on the lookout for a junior graphic designer to join us in Cape Town. We'll be spending two days a week in the office together, and the rest from wherever makes you happy.
The role is perfect for a skilled creative designer with one to two years of experience.
If you are meticulous about detail and all about crafting beautiful work; possess a can-do attitude; are able to take initiative; are eager to learn; and are ready to dive into the deep end, then we'd like to hear from you.
Scope of workYou will work across all brands supporting the design team in conceptualising ideas, crafting designs and rolling out projects
Design execution of print and digital brand and marketing collateral including:
Website assets:
banners, landing pages, etc
Digital campaigns
Social media content creation
PPT and Google side presentations
Interactive PDFs and guides
Brochures, newsletters, calendars and flyers
Branding promo items
Creative concepts
Event collateral
Executing designs according to a brief and timeline
Constant creation and conceptualisation of new and fresh ideas
Role requirements
Maintain high levels of creativity whilst working within the confines of CI guidelines
Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience in AE, motion graphics and video editing
A keen eye for layout and typography
Knowledge of print and digital processes
Able to take creative direction and feedback
One to two years of experience in an agency environment
Graphic design diploma or relevant qualification
Personal skills/attributes
Takes ownership and responsibility for your projects
Ability to think on your feet and take initiative
Takes pride in producing quality work
Attention to detail and accuracy
Organised, deadline-driven, and has great time management skills
Calm and collected
