    About you

    We're looking for an energetic Growth Marketing Executive to join our team.

    You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across various geographic markets (e.g. London, Paris, Sydney), for both of Houst's business models (i.e. our direct Airbnb management service and our franchise partnership).

    As such, we're looking for someone passionate about growth marketing, able to ideate bold experiments, design and implement test campaigns, as well as rigorously measure and report back on their results.

    Our ideal candidate will have some prior experience in a multi-product B2C or B2B digital marketing role (e.g. PPC, CRM, SEO) and a keen interest of applying their skillset in the booming world of Airbnb-ing.

    Embedded within Houst's Cape Town office, you will be working side by side the existing London-based Growth Team and reporting to the Head of Growth. You will also work closely with the sales, partnerships and product team, and other stakeholders to experiment with initiatives aimed at accelerating Houst's growth and commercial success.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative growth strategies to achieve company objectives. Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
    • User Acquisition: Assist with the planning and execution of multi-channel acquisition campaigns to attract new customers. Work closely with Sales Executive and Account Managers to understand their requirements and feedback to the Growth Team on how to implement better lead generation initiatives
    • Conversion Optimisation: Optimise conversion funnels and user journeys to improve conversion rates at various stages of the customer lifecycle. Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to identify and implement strategies that maximise conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools to measure campaign performance, user behaviour, and key metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable recommendations Measuring and reporting on success of community growth and engagement against set targets/KPIs.
    • Experimentation and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in growth marketing. Experiment with new tools, channels, and tactics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

    Requirements

    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing, affiliate marketing.
    • Experience with Web Analytics (GA4, Hotjar), Marketing Automation Tools (Klaviyo), Ads Managers (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), advanced Excel.
    • Curiosity and critical thinking to challenge the status quo, constantly ideating and proposing new experiments
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple projects, tight deadlines and adapting priorities
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
