Our Client is an international Engineering Company, and is seeking a Project Manager based in Cape Town.

Area: Airport City

Closing date: End April 2024

Salary: Market related- Depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Project management qualification.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in Engineering and Aviation.
• Experience with Sciforma software is advantageous.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multi-disciplinary projects within budget, time, and contractual quality.
• Develop project plans in consultation with stakeholders.
• Report regularly on project status.
• Support continuous improvement in project management.
• Assist with timeline development and production supervision.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
• Analyze risks and opportunities.
• Implement and manage project changes and variations.
• Act as the primary contact, communicating project status.
• Work closely with Program Managers and the Technical team.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Production Departments.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve technical and quality issues.

COMPETENCIES

• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking, and time-management.
• Experience managing development-type projects is advantageous.
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Sense of urgency.
• Conceptual thinking.
