    Position Overview

    This role exists in our Durban Branch.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Drive sales and marketing efforts for designated products.
    • Maintain and grow existing business while identifying new opportunities.
    • Provide technical support in operating theatres as required.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct and regulations.
    • Develop and update surgeon preference lists, including quotes.
    • Pursue continuous product knowledge development and customer engagement strategies to drive business growth.
    • Plan and coordinate sales calls and strategies.
    • Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff is essential.
    • Meet quantitative and qualitative objectives outlined in the annual sales plan for the territory.

    Requirements

    • BSc Degree in Human Movement or Health Sciences, or National Diploma in Clinical Technology (Perfusion).
    • A minimum of 3 years experience as a medical device sales representative; Vascular, Cardiothoracic, or Perfusion experience is preferred.
    • Fluency in English is mandatory.
    • Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills are required.
    • Strong relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating, and feedback skills.
    • A valid code 08 driver's license and personal transport are necessary.
    • Ability to work extended hours is expected.
    • Intermediate level proficiency in the MS Office package, including Outlook.
