Clinical Application Specialist MRI

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Application Specialist to provide clinical expertise in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in Johannesburg.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide clinical application training, product demonstrations, and pre-sales presentations for our company's products. They will work closely with sales staff to assess customer needs and develop detailed product specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Training Schedules: Set up application training schedules in close cooperation with customers.
• Customer Training: Train and retrain customers on best practices for optimal usage of MRI equipment.
• Equipment Issues: Report difficulties in optimal equipment usage.
• Customized Training Materials: Deliver customized competency-based training material packs when required.
• User Group Meetings: Support user group meetings as needed.
• Regular Visits: Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback on training delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Sales Support: Support and advise sales force during acquisition.
• Industry Updates: Stay updated on new developments in clinical applications and operating fields.
• Safety Management: Manage safety standards, including radiation protection and health and safety regulations.
• Quality Policy: Ensure that all clinical applications training complies with company quality policy.

Requirements:

• Medical Background: Have a medical-related or radiography background (certificate or degree as a radiographer).
• Clinical Experience: Possess in-depth clinical MRI knowledge with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Post-processing Tools: Have experience using post-processing tools and advanced applications.
• Advanced Examinations: Perform advanced MRI examinations (Cardiac, Neuro imaging, Angiography, Pediatric).
• Application Specialist: Previous experience as an Application Specialist and experience with MRI as a radiographer is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Have strong communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving, critical thinking, and priority-setting skills.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written, in addition to the local language.
• Teaching Experience: Teaching experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
• Travel Requirements: Willing to travel extensively within South Africa and other regions as necessary.

Estimated Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
