Reporting to:
Payroll Manager


Job Purpose:
The main focus of this employee will be to process all payroll changes and new

information received from HR, assigned business units and offices.


Location:
Woodstock, Cape Town


Key Performance Areas:

Under the management / direction of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • To process new employees, staff movements and terminations on the payroll system
  • To verify the payroll documentation received and to process payroll data accurately within specified deadlines
  • To assist with the monthly payroll reconciliation and submit reports timeously to avoid incorrect payments
  • To prepare the payroll, within agreed timeframes, for submission to Payroll Manager
  • To liaise with relevant departments and stakeholders to support internal processes and ensure queries are resolved timeously
  • To manage all leave queries and processing of leave for all employees on (ESS)

Requirements:


  • Minimum of Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
years working experience on Sage300 People

  • Sage300 People skills are essential.
  • Microsoft Office with Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to work to deadlines
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Immediate availability would be advantageous

Remuneration Structure:


  • A basic salary
  • Benefits at the full cost to the Employer;
  • Funeral Cover (at the full cost of the employer)
  • Life Cover (at the full cost of the Employer)
  • Disability Cover (at the full cost of the Employer)
  • Medical Cover (at the full cost of the employer, after successful completion of the probation period)
  • Subsidized schooling at Nimble Peak Child Educare (Ages: 3 months 5 years)

Working Hours:

You will be required to work a maximum of 45 hours per week.


Monday to Friday:
You will be required to work from 08:00am - 17:00pm.


This appointment will be made in line with the Nimble Group Employment Equity plan.
