Packaging Manager FMCG / Food & Bev /Agri

Northern Suburbs, Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa

You will be required to direct and coordinate activities in the Packing department.

Consult with technical/engineering personnel relative to modification of machines or processes and equipment to improve production and quality of products.

This is to be done within the Frame of QA compliance and operating within high standards of cGMP, HSE environmental protection and good working practices.

Qualification and Experience:

Degree or Diploma with 8 to 10 years of related experience in the FMCG or Cosmetic related field.
Conversant with OSH Act/Labour Laws /ISO Quality Systems.
Knowledge of systems and processes in a cGMP packaging environment
Proficient in root cause analysis, with attention to detail
IT and numerical skills.
Good technical skills
Good analytical skills, troubleshooting and problemsolving.
Organisation and efficiency, Leadership, and interpersonal skill
Confidence, Project management skills, Communication skills, Teamworking skills, IR knowledge
Ability to work under pressure.
