    NSO Business Strategies Manager

    The NSO Business Strategies Manager is responsible for implementing the company's strategies in the Sub Sahara and North African regions, across all brands. This position will conceptualize, develop, steer, and implement the NSO strategies with flawless execution, coordination, resource management, budget management, and reporting up to the board level.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement projects and strategies that support the NSO business requirements in line with group strategies, across all brands, and within the SSA/Africa and North Africa region.
    2. Collaborate with the HQ of BGC, Group strategy departments, and board members to determine activities and KPIs for each project.
    3. Manage the coordination, tracking, reporting, and follow-up of all NSO projects, ensuring timely and financial targets are met.
    4. Focus on the SSA pillar, supporting SSA Market heads in developing strategies, including corporate strategy, future business development, group brand expansion, and BoM communication.
    5. Develop implementation plans and strategies to enhance the geographical footprint for Group brands in all African countries, working with the SSA team and NSO Director, and presenting to the board.
    6. Develop and prove the business viability of new business opportunities for the NSO, including introducing additional revenue streams and viable Group Brand introduction into SA/SSA, which includes support with government relations and lobbying.
    7. Continuously monitor the market environment and develop research studies and market intelligence reports that support strategic decision-making.
    8. Assume responsibility for tracking and monitoring strategic initiatives agreed by the Board of Management.
    9. Business Case Development – full market and financial assessments.

    Essential Requirements:

    1. A recognized degree or national diploma in Business Management or process/industrial engineering.
    2. Experience within a consulting firm is essential.
    3. Qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, and/or Business Process Reengineering MBA would be advantageous.
    4. A minimum of 5 years' management experience.
    5. Proven track record in developing and implementing projects and strategies.
    6. Business case preparation, analysis, stakeholder management, and board-level communication.
    7. Task leadership experience.

    1. Ability to think strategically and integrate business requirements, processes, and technology.
    2. Capable of leading and managing cross-divisional functions and through all levels in the organization.
    3. Team management and interpersonal skills.
    4. Evaluation of costs and benefits of projects.
    5. International experience an advantage.
    6. Proven track record with sound decision-making ability.
    7. Ability to plan, execute, and make decisions on strategic projects and initiatives according to approved KPIs.
    8. Display excellent attention to detail.
    9. Good communication skills with respect to project reporting, problem escalation, and resolution.
