Job Description: Are you passionate about unlocking the potential of data to drive business decisions? Were seeking a BI Business Analyst to join our team. As a key player, youll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business data and reporting requirements. Youll collaborate closely with BI developers, translating these requirements into technical specs to create impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document reporting requirements for various business areas
  
• Investigate data sources and query data using SQL
  
• Document Functional requirements to source systems
  
• Provide recommendations on information presentation
  
• Train and support users
  
• Test new data models and regression test relevant reports
  
• Create test cases and plans
  
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements
  
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
  
• Stay updated on the latest market developments in Data tools and methodologies
  
• Create and enhance reports and dashboards, including maintenance and evolution management
  
• Extract information from the warehouse for ad hoc user requests

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-year Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related fields (essential)
  
• Data analysis experience
  
• Experience working with data visualization tools (Cognos or PowerBI preferred) for Proof of Concepts
  
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis (essential)
  
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling/Data Warehousing
  
• Proficiency in MS Office
  
• Experience in Financial Services or Retail (advantageous)
