Responsibilities:
- Assist with the execution of daily and monthly reports for the Head of RETAIL and CFO
- Coordinate with Staff Training, maintenance, and the implementation of Brand College procedures.
- Manage and complete special projects related to retail
- Drive performance in terms of targets

- Ensure all stores are open and able to trade staff, system, connectivity
- Bi-Monthly Store Meetings with all stores
- Recruitment
- Driving sales and targets
- Evaluating existing operations and developing appropriate strategies.
- Training store managers in effective sales and supervisory techniques.
- Creating and communicating sales targets at regular intervals.
- Monitoring sales across stores to check that quotas are met.
- Detecting, investigating, and remedying discrepancies in sales across stores, if required.
- Setting and implementing performance standards across all stores.
- Ensuring that employees observe company protocols.

- Promotional communication in conjunction with visual manager
- Customer care for the retail chain liaise with and resolve complaints
- Traveling to stores to conduct your duties onsite, as needed.
- Informing your manager of progress and pitfalls on a regular basis.
- Implement the strategic planning and major operational and commercial activities of the sales area, responsible for the sales performance and create a people first working environment within the area

Work with HR to implement an appropriate staff structure in your stores, to secure operations can be handled with quality and efficiency:
Collaborate with the Visual Manager to ensure all sales campaigns are carried out in accordance with Carrol Boyes guidelines and secure a high standard of visual merchandising, support, and challenge to optimise store layouts to drive selling:
Ensure all Store Managers receive the appropriate level of training, be aware of talents in the area and enhance succession planning
System management

Implement and review all technology related processes, and ensure documentation prepared to train staff members on all required systems:
Assist in managing the day-to-day needs of retail stores on the POS system and ensure the correct requirements are in place for stores to operate:
Assist in testing of system upgrades and updates as well as provide relevant insights as required
Stock Management

Assist stores with day-to-day stock management through implementation of strict control processes and ensuring audits are done in line with processes:
Compile product feedback from stores as and when needed:
Review in-store damages/testers/shortages/breakages in line with relevant reports and take required action where shortfalls are identified:
Assist with sourcing products from stores (Ad hoc)

Assist the marketing teams with processes that impact the retail team regarding campaigns:
- Ensure offers are eligible for POS and test implementation
- Review VM instructions (Operational/Compliance and review purposes)
- Review the offer/sale/markdown sheets to ensure information is in line with the business
- Prepare Campaign information for the Head of Retail

Customer service

Assist the retail teams in-store and at head office with any escalation of customer queries and/or calling customers on escalated queries
Sales

Analyze figures to ensure all stores are aligned with head office
IT

Assist stores with escalations of call logs that affect the day-to-day functions of the store:

Assist IT with any ad hoc information that need to be communicated to and from stores
Communication

Communicate important information that impacts the business, in-store processes and head office and ensure that all relevant parties are informed
Salary:
R20, R30,000.00 per month
Education:
- Diploma (preferred)
Experience:
Retail Area Manager: 5 years (required)
