- Ensure trial balances are meticulously prepared and reconciled for accurate financial reporting.
- Monthly reporting? You've got it covered Reconciliations and transaction tracking? Piece of cake
- Contribute to forecasting and adeptly manage cashflow and budgets.
- Support the preparation of financial statements—your attention to detail is your secret weapon.
- Keep the asset register in impeccable order.
- And yes, there'll be some general admin duties—because teamwork makes the dream work
- Education: A degree or Diploma in Accounting and/or Finance is essential.
- Certification: Completion of SAICA/SAIPA articles would be a plus
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounting within the Hotel & Hospitality industry or a similar environment ideally
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrate wizardry with financial software, including MS Office, Xero, Dext, and relevant Hospitality software (Semper).
- Legal Know-How: Firm knowledge of SARS legislation and statutory submissions is crucial.
- Skills: Showcase a high sense of responsibility, excellent problem-solving abilities, and top-notch communication skills.
