    Mission description

    The purpose of this position is to coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service activities. Provide branches and customers with timeous and accurate feedback and prepare monthly reports. Monitoring stock holding by category ensuring stock month targets are met and fill rates are adequately serviced. Provide support to Branch Parts Managers in achieving new Business strategies and objectives, Sales targets and revenue growth.

    To perform this job successfully, the appointed individual must be able to perform each essential duty / key performance area satisfactorily. This list of key performance areas is not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time:

    Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, adhering to and uphold departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce aging material.

    Adhere to and uphold methods and procedures for purchasing stock and suppliers to support branches in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impact.
    Adhere, uphold and maintain transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met.
    Overall responsibility to ensure quality of customer interaction and service (support and guide the Parts team in attracting and securing new business, developing partnerships with and tailor-made solutions for clients; evaluation of Parts Aftermarket sales team's development needs and ensuring lack of knowledge/ skills are addressed; evaluation of administrative and supervisory staff development needs and ensuring lack of knowledge / skills are addressed)
    Achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets.
    Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing operational and personal policies and procedures.
    Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
    Prepare and present monthly reporting pack locally and internationally.
    Original Equipment Manufacturing visits, negotiations and relationship management.
    Overall responsibility to ensure Parts team follows administrative procedures correctly.
    Negotiate pricing structure with local and international suppliers.
    Ability to develop and implement operational innovation.
