    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Reservations and Sales Coordinator at Marriott International, you will play a crucial role in promoting our brand image and driving revenue growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Promoting awareness of our brand image internally and externally
    • Using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
    • Recognizing opportunities to up-sell and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott experience or event
    • Encouraging guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours
    • Explaining details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation to potential owners
    • Verifying that individuals meet eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling a tour for a Marriott vacation club property
    • Determining and giving complimentary items to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets
    • Answering guest questions about property facilities and services
    • Receiving, recording, and relaying messages accurately, completely, and legibly

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • No related work experience
    • No supervisory experience
    • No specific license or certification
