At Amazon Web Services Limited, we're hiring highly technical cloud computing consultants to help AWS customers and partners develop technical expertise and deliver cloud based solutions to key customer engagements in South Africa.

Our consultants deliver IT infrastructure architecture guidance, lead proof-of-concept projects, perform enterprise portfolio assessments, assist customers with IT Transformation, review operational best practices and conduct skills transfer workshops.

Our consultants collaborate with customers and partners to address security and compliance, performance and scale, availability and manageability. They advise customers on migrating existing systems and building new systems using the full range of AWS services.

As a Senior Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) with AWS Professional Services team, you will build and consolidate the commercial relationship with large global organizations.

You will collaborate with customer account teams and AWS partners to identify, develop, and execute customer consulting engagements.

As a Trusted Advisor for our largest and most committed customers, you will support business development and build strong relationships, oversee the delivery and manage programs for a portfolio of projects in those accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Multiple years of IT consulting, sales and management experience, with demonstrated business and technology transformation experience in customerfacing roles
• Business consulting experience in transforming customer operations through technology including cloud adoption, IOT, ML/AI, and automation.
• Extensive experience managing large Industry vertical accounts, IT and business consulting (relationship management, achieving growth targets / sales quotas, high customer satisfaction achievement, project portfolio management, contract negotiations etc.).
• A proven track record of managing and delivering largescale enterprise IT programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with contract and statement of work (SOW) development.
• Experience with enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, cyber, etc.).
• Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, cloud, ML/AI, traditional and renewables power generation, transmission, utility retail, E&P, refining/chemical/wells process control and SCADA, fuelingretail, and supply chain.
• Experience with enterprise application programs (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.) and technical infrastructures in Industry, including design, build, and operate of global solutions.
