Duties and responsibilities:
- Crossborder M&A (public and private) including:
- Inception, planning and due diligence.
- Deal execution.
- Postmerger interjections.
- Joint ventures.
- Growth by alternatives to M&A.
- Capital Markets (equity and debts)
- Private Equity.
- Investment Funds.
- Venture Capital.
- Corporate Governance.
Qualification and skills:
- 4years+ PQE
- Experience across private equity and M&A transactions across a range of sectors.
- Experience working across jurisdictions and/or with emerging markets.
- Proven track record of leading deals and negotiations.
- Commercial astute and stays current on key legal and business news.
- Excellent skills in communication, client relations and teamworking.
- Provides a professional, quality service in timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients.
- Recognises and seizes opportunities for the firm, including repeat business.
- Builds awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute.
- Maintains a controlled, objective, and flexible approach under pressure.
- Proactive and innovative.
