    Job Description:

    Electrical Technician

    The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery and devices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation and Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot and maintain all electrical equipment, machinery and devices to ensure efficient operation and minimal breakdowns.
    • Project Management: Assist the Electrical Head in managing all aspects of plant equipment maintenance and projects.
    • BREAKDOWN RESPONSE: Respond to all break downs within defined time limits to minimize production impact.
    • Cable Installation: Fit cable trays, conduit and other electrical components as required.
    • PLC Programming: Install PLC programs as needed.
    • Equipment Efficiency: Ensure equipment is well maintained and running efficiently with minimal breakdowns.
    • Fault Finding: Identify and repair electrical faults on in-house machinery.
    • Wiring: Perform electrical wiring tasks as required.

    Requirements:

    • Degree Requirement: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of experience in the electrical industry.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
