Description

Provides a professional HR service to the business and assists the HR Manager and to lead and deliver strategic objectives of the business.


Recruitment and Selection

  • Ensures recruitment and selection is carried out in accordance with the company's Recruitment and Selection Policy and Procedure.
  • Develops Job Specs and Job Descriptions.
  • Maintain relationships with contracted recruitment agencies.
  • Advertises Vacancies internally and externally via sharepoint, career portals, linkedIn and recruitment agencies.
  • Conducts interviews for technical and nontechnical vacancies.
  • Conducts and verifies reference checks.
induction duties

  • Prepares Offer letter.
  • Notifies departmental administrator of new staff members starting.
  • Organises and Issues Induction Pack
  • Conducts induction presentation and office tour.
  • Issues induction pack with notebook/diary to new staff member.
  • ESS Training, POPIA Training, H&S Training
  • Office Tour
  • Follows up on completion of Induction duties.
  • Follows up on completion of Probationary Review Forms and Completion Letter.
  • Continuous updating and improvement of induction process

Training and development and career pathing

  • Facilitates all Training and Development initiatives in line with company policy.
  • Books, organises, arranges payments and keeps record of all training related documentation.
  • Monitors training budget regularly.
  • Organises and schedules inhouse learnerships.
  • Liaises and maintain relationships with training providers.
  • Ensures internal knowledge sharing is facilitated when staff attend external courses.
  • Prepares presentations for Training Committee Meetings.
  • Collates and submits Workplace Skills Plan & Annual Training report and CETA DG Grants
  • Oversees and manages the Naidu Consulting Academy of Excellence In-Service Training Programme.
  • Administers the company's Bursary Programme in accordance with the company's policy and procedure.
  • Administers career pathing and succession management spreadsheets
employment equity

  • Adheres to the Employment Equity targets and goals during recruitment, training and development and succession planning.
  • Assists with the Collation and submission of Employment Equity report.
  • Prepares presentations for Employee Equity Committee Meetings.

Mentorship programme

  • Familiarise and understands the requirements of supervisors, mentors and mentees
  • Understands MOU agreement signed with ECSA
  • Administration around mentorship programme
  • Tracks supervisor and mentor meetings
  • Record keeping

ADHOC

  • Administers and ensures data integrity on the HRIS System (Premier)
  • Integrates data from VIP Payroll to VIP Premier System.
  • Oversees offboarding process.
  • Updates policies and roll out awareness sessions to staff on new and updated policies
  • Administers the staff rental process in line with company procedure.
  • Administers the staff loan and salary advance process in line with company procedure.
  • Interprets, explains and applies employment laws and company policies.
  • Assists with disciplinary issues.
  • Assists with ISO audit regarding HR sections.
  • Oversees and provides support to the youth committee.
  • Attends to vocational work requests and arranges accordingly.
  • Arranges socio economic initiatives and obtains the relevant documentation.
  • Supervises the Receptionist in relation to HR duties.
  • Certification of documentation for tenders.
  • Keep NHRD Spreadsheet Updated
  • Provides divisions with HR information/documentation required for tender purposes.
  • Coordination and compilation of the HR Newsflash

Offboarding

  • Ensures offboarding process is conducted in line with the exit process document.
  • Informs HR Team and Finance of resignation.
Conducts exit interviews dependant seniority of staff member
