    OUTsurance Short Term Broker - Gqeberha

    Location:

    Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an OUTsurance Short Term Broker in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of insurance clients through prospecting, networking, and effective communication.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospect for new clients through various channels, including cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, and networking.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, actuarial, claims, and surveying teams.
    • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and provide solutions to clients by selling OUTsurance short-term products that meet their needs.
    • Draft, track, and measure personal business plans to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
    • Provide ongoing service and support to individual client bases, including amendments, renewals, and claims.
    • Retain existing business by engaging in renewal discussions in line with FAIS regulations.
    • Develop internal and external relationships with clients to build a loyal customer base.

    Requirements:

    • Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
    • FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (Depending on DOFA)
    • RE5 (Depending on DOFA)
    • Reliable transport and a valid code B driver's license
    • At least 3 years of external sales experience (preferably in the insurance industry)
