Description

Duties:


  • Developing and maintaining of new and existing customers in the Valve Industry.
  • Developing and growing new business relationships in the local and African Valve industry and other related business sectors...
  • Assisting customers with technical advice and queries on industrial valves and related products
  • Technical Bid Evaluations Valve Selections.
  • Sizing of Valves & Valve Identification.
  • Compiling of Tenders.
  • Data Sheets.
  • Drawings.
  • Project Documentation and Portals.
  • Typing of documents on Word using Office 365 Cloud Server.
  • Costing / Quotes /Emails, Advanced Excel, Tender quotes.
  • Processing of orders on Sage Evolution.
  • Liaison with colleagues within company/departments.
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with suppliers and customers.

Requirements:


  • Minimum grade 12 or Equivalent.
  • Technical qualification/Trade would be advantageous.
  • 3 or more years recent sales experience, reselling of industrial valves and related products.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Typing of documents, Costing and Quotes, Emails, Telephonic Enquires and Sales.
  • Technical Bid Evaluations, Valve Selections, Sizing of valves and Valve Identification.
  • Compiling of Tenders, Data Sheets, Drawings, Project Documentation and Portals.
  • Working to strict timelines and deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and people skills are required.
  • Have a fair knowledge of the valve market and competitors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to form strong business relationships, based on excellent customer service and communication,
  • Must be able to open and service new account customers.
  • Technically minded and able to assist customers with their selections.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
