Description

Benguela Cove is currently hiring a part-time Art Gallery Sales Consultant for Saturdays and Sundays, with the potential for full-time work during busier periods.

As a Gallery Salesperson, you will be responsible for sales and marketing within the commercial gallery.

This includes directly assisting customers and dealers interested in purchasing art, with the aim of maximizing returns for both Benguela Cove and our talented artists.

Your main duties will involve front-of-house responsibilities, ensuring the gallery runs seamlessly.

This includes securing artists and curating new exhibitions, negotiating and finalizing sales, coordinating shipping and artist communication, handling timely invoicing and buyer correspondence, promoting and selling artists' work, cataloging art, cultivating buyer relationships and maintaining a database, overseeing sold artwork, curating shows, organizing art tours and walks, arranging transportation and packaging when needed, ensuring proper installation of artwork, maintaining high standards of maintenance, updating the website, and managing general administrative tasks, finances, and accounts as required.
