Purpose of the Job:


To drive the execution of transactional sourcing and end-to-end order-to-pay process in line with Procurement processes and policies to ensure the delivery of business requirements and performance.

What you'll have done before:


  • NQF Level 6 (Diploma/Advanced Certificate in Finance/ Supply Chain or related)
  • 3 years of Procurement experience including procuretopay processes;
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes, systems and policies;
  • Experience in Procurement buying and Procurement SAP System.

Advantageous:

  • CIPS Certificate.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance/Supply Chain Ability to work successfully in an everchanging environment and navigate ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality and value
  • Advanced Procurement skill or desire to acquire same

What you'll be doing:


  • Execute procuretopay processes less than or equal to R2M by implement transactional sourcing and supporting the supplier's selection process and quotations and support the negotiation process for transactional sourcing to ensure delivery of business needs. Perform nonstrategic sourcing categories through preparation of documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and perform bidding process and create & manage contracts to ensure delivery of business needs;
  • Monitor process and compliance for transactional PO's and contracts through management of contract compliance including ownership of open and post facto purchase orders and performing procurement processes to ensure PO' s are complete for execution.
  • Manage data and provide accurate information and reports through analysing and reporting on all procurement transactions to ensure performance and delivery against set targets and to ensure data integrity.
