    Senior Project Manager Role

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in the plant equipment manufacturing industry.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute project execution strategies, overseeing final negotiations for allocated projects.
    • Ensure timely signature of project schedule baselines from involved parties at project commencement.
    • Lead and manage project teams to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and EHS targets, driving continuous improvement.
    • Implement effective risk and opportunity management practices.
    • Maintain proper deviation management within projects, assessing, approving, and expediting technical aspects of change orders, and defining strategic claims towards clients, partners, and subcontractors.
    • Conduct project reviews as required, reporting according to our project management process.
    • Oversee site briefing meetings, ensuring all relevant site documents are transferred to site personnel.
    • Foster collaboration with the Project Management Office to establish, implement, and maintain operating standards, guaranteeing high-quality project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and main subcontractors to ensure smooth project operation and dispute resolution.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and capture lessons learned from past experiences.
    • Organize and conduct debriefing meetings.
    • Supervise, support, and mentor project team members, providing input for performance reviews.

    Required Experience and Qualifications:

    • PMI Certification (advantageous, must meet minimum requirements for accreditation)
    • In-depth knowledge of plant principles and complex project experience.
    • Proven planning, organizing, and coordinating skills in international environments.
    • Able to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
    • Minimum 5 years as Project Engineer or equivalent experience.
    • Basic commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities in commercial negotiations.
    • Strong planning, organizing, and priority setting skills, with proven ability to manage teams effectively.
