This position is ideal for a strategic Director with years of integrated sales experience who enjoys a dynamic multi-channel sell.     We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our Media & Experiential team. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this role will play a key lead role in developing and implementing an innovative go-to-market strategy with a focus on acquiring new partnerships, monetizing existing partnerships and generating new revenue channels.

    Scope

    • rive new revenue growth that aligns with overall company and business strategy. Own the full cycle sales process including prospecting new leads, identifying potential partnerships, navigating the C-suite, negotiating contracts, and closing new and renewal business with customers.
    • Identify, develop, secure, and monetize an expanding ecosystem of partnerships by leveraging inventory across multiple lines of business.
    • Assist in developing the strategic direction and plan for revenue growth through differentiated value propositions and solutions. Able to generate a strategy, transform it into an actionable plan and execute in a timely fashion.
    • Create and deliver insight-based, multi-channel solutions to our partners and clients to optimize value and success.
    • Execute a go-to-market strategy to secure new long-term partnerships in new verticals.
    • Develop deep and comprehensive market and industry understanding and competitive analysis by understanding sales, traffic trends, demographics, and historical knowledge.
    • Proven success driving new sales opportunities through strategic business development.
    • Leverage strategic relationships and experience to sell across multiple shopping centers.
    • Confidently promote the advantages Westfield can offer a brand as an owner and operator of our assets.

    What we are looking for

    • Minimum of ten years' experience working in the Media (OOH, DOOH, Video, or Digital) Industry.
    • Four-year college degree.
    • Highly experienced in building, growing, and maintaining a large book of business. Able to leverage key industry relationships to maximize revenue and opportunities. Passionate about deepening established customer relationships.
    • Experience creating engagement across multiple lines of business and able to lead directly and via influence to create change.
    • History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
    • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

    Compensation

    Exempt

    $160,000 – $180,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
