Certificate in Purchasing/Material Management/Supply Chain Required
13 Years of Buying Experience in a Mining Environment Required
Diploma or NQF6 Equivalent in Purchasing/Material Management/Supply Chain

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
ERP system knowledge
Supply Chain knowledge

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adherence to company purchasing policies and procedures.
Maintenance of the Vendor Database.
Tender processes and quotes.
Purchasing analysis and reporting
Purchases the right commodities at the right time and at competitive prices by ensuring 95 percent availability of all materials and services to the endusers.
Creating longterm contracts with suppliers.
