    Senior Mechatronics Engineer Position

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join our Cape Town team, specializing in water and wastewater treatment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage project risks, resources, and scheduling.
    • Possess experience in professional services tendering and agreements.
    • Understand statutory approval processes.
    • Lead design teams and mentor junior staff members.
    • Conduct feasibility studies, master planning, and report compilation for water, wastewater, and treatment projects.
    • Develop project schedules, quantities, and valuations through accurate measurements and valuations.
    • Create construction contract documents and manage procurement processes.
    • Maintain knowledge of technical standards and procedures.
    • Foster collaboration with engineering and non-engineering disciplines.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechatronics.
    • Professional registration required.
    • A minimum of eight years' relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project software.
