    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and manage a team of IT support specialists during assigned shifts, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, promoting a positive work environment and fostering growth and development.
    • Oversee the resolution of technical issues reported or escalated by end-users, employing problem-solving skills and expertise.
    • Coordinate and manage IT resources and staff during assigned shifts to meet service level agreements and operational goals, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
    • Document and report incidents, including root cause analysis, to facilitate continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
    • Identify training needs within the team and coordinate training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge, working closely with management layers to develop staff capabilities.
    • Manage escalations from the quality department, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

    Required Experience

    At least 6 years of experience in desktop support is essential for this role.

    Shift supervisor experience within an IT call centre is also required.

    Familiarity with Active Directory and MS Exchange is necessary, as well as knowledge of networking fundamentals.
