    Description

    Senior Process Engineer (12 Month Contract)

    Our client, a leading South African banking and investment company, is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement and a proven track record of delivering results in a financial services environment.

    Duties:

    • Support business units in the analysis, improvement, and redesign of core and support business processes from current state assessments to post-implementation support.
    • Improve business processes by designing and implementing solutions through finding new ways to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency, evaluating research findings, and making logical evaluations of new ideas and designs.
    • Perform tasks such as project management, data mining, statistical analysis, process mapping, lean process engineering, production planning, quality assurance, performance management, business improvement, lean manufacturing, budget management, quality control, and process audits.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum BCom Information Systems/Statistics/Mathematics, BEng Chem/Mech/Ind., or BSc Information Systems degree.
    • At least 10 years of working experience at a Process Practitioner level.
    • Experience working in financial services/payments/working capital.
    • Lean Six Sigma Certification - Black Belt certification is advantageous.
    • SAFe certification is ideal.
