Duties/Pligte- Developing and implementing an integrated marketing and communication strategy and plan to engage all relevant stakeholders and strengthen the Faculty's brand identity and student

market;Working with all stakeholders to recognise marketing and communication opportunities and solutions, and defining and executing appropriate support strategies;external stakeholders;Monitoring communication and reputational risks and overseeing the development of strategies to mitigate these risks;- Conceptualising and managing relevant events and campaigns that help to promote the Faculty's strategic goals, including:

  • the alignment of marketing and communication with the recruitment strategy to specifically help achieve reputation and enrolment objectives of the undergraduate market;-
  • student-related marketing events, e.g., the annual undergraduate open day, social media events and platforms, etc.,-
  • leveraging alumni and public events to optimally position the Faculty.-
  • Managing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all communication materials on Faculty level, and coordinating it on departmental level;
  • Overseeing the management of the Faculty's website administration, updating and coordination on the Faculty and departmental level;
  • Ensuring appropriate social media and multimedia strategies are implemented and integrated in all functional areas of marketing and communication initiatives;
  • Coordinating media interest in, and engagement with, the Faculty: overseeing contact with the media as well as advice and support services for internal stakeholders who engage with the
media;Implementing tools to measure public awareness of the Faculty, and evaluating the effectiveness of communication activities and products.
Ontwikkel en implementeer 'n geïntegreerde bemarkings
- en kommunikasiestrategie en plan om alle toepaslike belanghebbendes te betrek en die Fakulteit se handelsmerkidentiteit enstudentemark te versterk;Samewerking met alle belanghebbendes om bemarkings
- en kommunikasiegeleenthede en oplossings te identifiseer en om toepaslike ondersteuningstrategieë te definieer en uit te voer;
  • Help om te verseker dat die Fakulteit se missie, visie en waardes pertinent en konsekwent regdeur die Fakulteit, die instelling en aan sy eksterne belanghebbendes gekommunikeer word;
  • Monitering van kommunikasie
- en reputasierisiko's en toesighouding oor die ontwikkeling van strategieë om hierdie risiko's te verminder;
  • Konseptualiseer en bestuur toepaslike gebeurtenisse en veldtogte wat help om die Fakulteit se strategiese doelwitte te bevorder, met inbegrip van:
  • die belyning van bemarking en kommunikasie met 'n werwingstrategie om spesifiek te help om reputasie
- en inskrywingsdoelwitte vir die voorgraadse mark te bereik; studenteverwante bemarkingsgeleenthede, bv. die jaarlikse voorgraadse opedag, sosiale media geleenthede en platforms, ens.; benut alumni en openbare geleenthede om die Fakulteit optimaal te posisioneer.
  • Bestuur van die ontwikkeling, verspreiding en instandhouding van alle kommunikasiemateriaal op fakulteitsvlak, en die koördinering daarvan op departementele vlak;
  • Toesighouding oor die bestuur van die Fakulteit se webwerfadministrasie, opdatering en koördinering op fakulteits

- en departementele vlak;
  • Verseker die implementering en integrering van toepaslike sosiale media en multimedia strategieë in alle funksionele areas van bemarking en kommunikasie inisiatiewe;
  • Koördineer mediabelangstelling in en betrokkenheid by die Fakulteit: toesighouding oor kontak met die media asook advies
- en ondersteuningsdienste vir interne belanghebbendes watmet die media skakel;Implementeer instrumente om openbare bewustheid van die Fakulteit te meet, en evalueer die doeltreffendheid van kommunikasieaktiwiteite en -produkte.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification;- Three years' experience as member of a team in the marketing and communication sphere of the higher education sector;- Proven skills, knowledge, and experience in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies, plans, and activities;- Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills in order to produce insights that continuously shape marketing and communication activities;- The ability to transform knowledge into exciting and useful marketing messages and communication;- An understanding of potential communication channels, and expertise in online, multimedia, and social media platforms;- Experience in the development of content, media management, and the design and production of communication material;- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
