    Job Description

    TalentCru is seeking a skilled Transaction Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the performance of our portfolio companies and ensuring their financial and operational stability.

    About the Role

    This role requires a deep understanding of finance, business strategy, and industry-specific knowledge. You will work closely with our Portfolio Management and Monitoring Teams to evaluate portfolio companies' financial and operational performance, implement value creation and risk mitigation plans, and report on portfolio performance to Committees.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate portfolio companies' financial and operational performance
    • Implement value creation and risk mitigation plans
    • Report on portfolio performance to Committees
    • Work with internal teams and external advisors to evaluate risks and opportunities associated with operational and balance sheet restructures of portfolio companies
    • Structure and negotiate detailed terms of refinancing deals in liaison with other organizational professionals
    • Develop recommendations for choice of financial instruments to use in transactions
    • Assist with leading the transaction process from start to finish, including drafting term sheets, managing the legal documentation process, and closing operational and balance sheet restructure plans of portfolio companies and transactions

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a relevant commercial or technical honors degree from a reputable institution
    • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Strategy Consulting
    • Proven track record in deal sourcing, structuring, and execution
    • Sound knowledge and experience in developing and implementing turnaround strategies and plans
    • Good understanding of different types of security for financial investments
    • Working knowledge of Company, Contract, Taxation, and Insolvency legislation
    • Strong communication and networking skills
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
    • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding, analyzing, and interpretation of financial statements, valuation techniques, and capital structures

    What We Offer

    We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
