    Description

    Business Development Consultant - Port Elizabeth

    Looking for dedicated Business Development Consultants who enjoy working independently as well as part of a team. The role involves meeting sales targets set by our client and sourcing leads, with a primary focus on Commercial Insurance. Building relationships with colleagues in other divisions is also key to ensure a steady flow of leads.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Source lead opportunities to be able to quote at least 100 prospects monthly
    • Maintain and update Lead Generation Matrix weekly
    • Conduct one-on-one meetings with clients for needs analysis
    • Manage lead generation process through various activities
    • Provide regular reports on leads, quotes, sales, and other relevant information
    • Stay informed on product comparisons and changes
    • Introduce specialists to prospects as needed
    • Meet set KPIs and regulatory standards
    • Continue professional development as required
    • Adhere to professional guidelines and ethics
    • Maintain appropriate skills and knowledge for financial advice

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • FAIS Credits
    • FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
    • CPD points
    • Minimum of three years sales experience in short-term insurance
    • Own transport and license required
