Pearl Valley Home Owners Association, has an exciting full-time permanent vacancy for a dynamic individual, who will form part of their facilities team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for various maintenance tasks on the Estate.

The responsibilities of the job incumbent include, but are not limited to: - Plan and scheduling maintenance activities - Correct usage of machinery and equipment - Ensuring that all tools are well looked after - Keep all exteriors in good repair - All small plumbing, electrical, painting and repair jobs withing the estate - Cleans and assist with the upkeep of the maintenance workshop - Respond to requests by the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor - Abide to all health and safety rules.


The ideal job incumbent must adhere to the following person specifications: - Minimum of 3 years (continuously) working experience as a maintenance assistant within a facilities management team - Physically fit - Applicable basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience (being a hands-on individual would be an advantage) - Must have a valid driver's license - Detail orientated - Good communication and interpersonal skills - _
Must reside in the Paarl/Wellington area._


A market related salary is offered.

Salary:
R5, R6,000.00 per month

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
