Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Assist with the full end to end talent acquisition process for specialist and core vacancies across the business,
  • Assist with the formulation, execution and implementation of the Recruitment Strategy/Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Maintain recruitment platforms i.e. Website, LinkedIn
  • Talent Management
  • Conduct one on one exit interviews using the information obtained from the online survey with all employees in high turnover departments or scarce skills (wherever necessary).
  • Reporting
  • Provide meaningful information and data that is tracked and shared monthly on new hires, terminations etc.
  • Employment Equity
  • Active member of the EE committee
  • Conduct EE presentation and training for Management.
  • Governance
  • Comply with Business policies and procedures and prevailing legislation that govern HR practices and principles.
  • Review recruitment policy and process documents to ensure that they remain relevant and in line with business needs.

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 3 year related degree or diploma essential (HR/Commerce/ Behavioural Science)
  • Experience in competencybased interviewing techniques essential
  • Ability to use data to make better decisions and drive results.
Additional Information


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Assist with the full end to end talent acquisition process for specialist and core vacancies across the business,
including but not limited to the following activities:
Conduct competency-based interviews with line managers

Background vetting and salary proposals and approvals

Onboarding new employees

1st day induction

  • Assist with the formulation, execution and implementation of the Recruitment Strategy/Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Implement employer branding initiatives
  • Assist with the implementation of recruitment tools and templates
  • Researches, recommends and executes best practice in Talent Acquisition
  • Maintain SAHL recruitment platforms i.e. SAHL Website, LinkedIn
  • Support the HR Manager in delivering a young talent acquisition process for the group (Graduate development programme)
  • Identify risk | gaps for pipelining of skills (Specialist & Scarce Skill Roles for agreed capabilities)
  • Stakeholder management, ensuring relationships are maintained with current stakeholder and building relationships with new partners
  • Use of exit interviews to provide information for improvement
  • Reduction of Recruitment agencies costs
  • Assist with Workforce planning for the business
  • Talent Management
  • Conduct one on one exit interviews using the information obtained from the online survey with all employees in high turnover departments or scarce skills (wherever necessary).
  • Creation of a SAHL employee value proposition
  • Support Business initiatives to scout for future talent, by way of career fairs and industry conferences etc.
  • Communicate the talent review findings to drive the building of a pipeline within the company to promote progression and retention.
  • When vacancies or new roles occur, ensure that succession plans are reviewed in keeping with promoting from within.
  • Work with staff at various levels to promote job mapping/ careering pathing in conjunction with Learning & Development and People Partners.
  • Look at innovative ways to improve retention metrics within the Business
  • Assist with Talent projects
  • Support the talent management Assessment (admin/coordination duties where required)
  • Work closely with the People Data Analyst to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Reporting
  • Provide meaningful information and data that is tracked and shared monthly on new hires, terminations etc.
  • Provide quarterly stats on scarce and critical skills within the business
  • Development a talent management report to track employee movements within the Business
  • Report on barriers to the recruitment process every quarter
  • Employment Equity
  • Active member of the EE committee
  • Conduct EE presentation and training for Management
  • Ensure appointments are in line with the Business's Employment Equity plans and goals
  • Promote Employment Equity goals with your stakeholders whenever recruiting
  • Governance
  • Comply with Business policies and procedures and prevailing legislation that govern HR practices and principles
  • Review recruitment policy and process documents to ensure that they remain relevant and in line with business needs
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all levels and at all time
