Key requirements

  • Diesel Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • A working knowledge of diesel generators, diesel engines monitoring and controllers such as DeepSea Electronics (DES), Datakom
  • Familiar with telecommunications industry
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • People management skills

Key functions

  • Effectively manage branch operations i.e deployment, refueling, collections and servicing
  • Continually monitor, measure and improve equipment performance and processes improvement
  • Forecast and budget resource to satisfy forecasts
  • Advise Branch manager of changes in available work vs. staffing levels
  • Ensure jobs are processed and billed on a daily basis
  • Build, maintain an environment characterized by high productivity and high staff morale
